Fort Dodge, IA : One taken to hospital following 2-vehicle accident on Sunday, January, 14th 2018

Dennis Feldmann, Fort Dodge firefighter, looks inside a van that was involved in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of South 15th Street and Fifth Avenue South Sunday night. At least one person was transported to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center with injuries, according to Sgt. Jody Chansler, of the Fort Dodge Police Department. A third vehicle slid off the median and hit a sign while officers were on scene, Chansler reported. Traffic was backed up on Fifth Avenue South for several minutes while crews worked to clean up the scene.
