Miami, FL : Two people dead after a car burst into flames following a crash on Interstate 95 early Wednesday, February 10, 2016

Two people are dead after a fiery crash on northbound Interstate 95.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened early Wednesday.

Authorities say the vehicle apparently hit a barrier and burst into flames.

WSVN reports a road ranger pulled the driver out of the burning vehicle. But he went into cardiac arrest and died on the way to the hospital. The passenger died at the scene.

An investigation is underway to determine what caused the crash.
