Salem, NH, man killed in Boston crash on Friday, 26th August, 2016

A Salem man died early Friday following a single-vehicle accident in Boston's Sumner Tunnel.

Dillon Cohen, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a passenger in the 2002 Dodge Ram pickup when its driver lost control, Massachusetts State Police said.

Cohen was with two other Salem men, ages 23 and 24, who suffered serious injuries.

The men, whose names were not released, were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital and Tufts Medical Center, respectively, state police said.

The pickup crashed about 3:10 a.m. on the on-ramp to Interstate 93 north, state police said. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The tunnel was closed for several hours while police investigated.
