A Jacksonville man died Tuesday after a one-car accident Monday night on Interstate 75.
David Black, 29, was traveling south on I-75 near mile marker 469 when he lost control of his vehicle and drove off the west shoulder at 8:47 p.m. Monday, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
Black’s 2004 Hyundai spun counter-clockwise, the report states, and the right rear of the car hit a tree.
Black was transported to South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta with critical injuries. He was pronounced deceased, according to an updated FHP report, at UF Health Jacksonville at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
