Dover,NH : Middleton man cited after Farmington Road crash on December, Wednesday 20th 2017
Both drivers involve in a Wednesday afternoon crash near the Granite Ridge Marketplace were transported from the scene by ambulance.
At 2:13 p.m., Rochester police, Rochester fire and Frisbie Hospital EMS personnel responded to a two-car accident on Farmington Road.
Barbara Triest-Mcbride, age 64, of Newmarket, was driving a Nissan Sentra East on Farmington Road toward Rochester. Russell Bellgardt, age 78, of Middleton, was driving a Chrysler Town and Country westbound on Farmington Road, according to police.
Police said a witness observed Bellgardt make a left turn in front of oncoming traffic to head in to The Granite Ridge. That is when Bellgardt’s Chrysler collided with the Nissan driven by Triest-Mcbride.
Both vehicles suffered extensive front-end damage and were towed away.
Both drivers were transported from the scene by ambulance for apparent non-life-threatening injuries.
Bellgardt was cited for failure of traffic turning left to yield.
Emergency responders were assisted at the scene by a NH Liquor Enforcement Officer and Farmington Ambulance.
