Mountain Home, AR : One person dead, 1 injured in head-on collision on State Highway 5 in Baxter County on Sunday afternoon, December 13, 2015

Two Baxter County men were involved in a deadly head-on collision Sunday afternoon.

According to a preliminary crash report by Arkansas State Police, Terry L. Teeter Jr., of Gassville, was heading north on State Highway 5 at around 12:05 p.m.

That’s when, according to police, Teeter crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming car.

Christopher J. Jordan, 22, of Mountain Home, was driving the oncoming car.

Jordan died and Teeter was injured in the crash.

The crash report said the road was wet when the accident happened.
