HULL, IL : Driver cited in truck crash in Pike County on Monday, 24th September 2018

A Louisiana man refused medical treatment after a Monday night crash in Pike County.

Illinois State Police District 20 reports a 2006 Volvo semi pulling a Vanguard trailer driven by Randy O. Sanderford, 48, of Hammond, La., was westbound on Interstate 72 near milepost 4 at 10:07 p.m. ISP said the truck drove off the right side of the road and overturned onto its side in the ditch.

ISP said Sanderford was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
