A 61-year-old man was ejected from a red Volkswagen Beetle and died in a Rowland Road crash, state police at the Blooming Grove barracks said Friday.
Robert K. McGrath, who lived in the Rowland section of the township, was driving north at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, when he lost control of his car while driving around a right curve, traveled across the southbound lane onto the shoulder and struck a rock, police said.
The collision caused the car to roll three times.
McGrath was ejected from the Beetle, suffering fatal injuries as he ended up in the southbound lane.
