BATON ROUGE, LA : 3 dead, 2 hurt after car crash in Central on Tuesday, 4h June 2024

The Central Police Department is investigating a car crash in Central that left three people dead and two injured.

According to CPD, the crash occurred just after 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 17000 block of Magnolia Bridge Road between Old Wax Road and Greenwell Springs Road.

Two people were trapped in a flipped vehicle after a head-on collision, according to CPD.

CPD and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office are on the scene. Emergency medical services, the Central Fire Department and Acadian Air Med are also on the scene, according to CPD.
