NASHVILLE, TN : Donelson hit-and-run downs utility pole on Friday, 4th November 2016

A section of Donelson Pike is closed Friday morning following a hit-and-run crash into a utility pole.

A witness reported a truck hitting the pole shortly after 2 a.m. at Donelson Pike and Wellman Drive. When the witness approached the vehicle to see if the driver was okay, the driver left the scene.

The witness also reported extreme front-end damage to the vehicle.

Police are now searching for the suspect.
