Annapolis, MD : Five injured in Arnold crash on Friday, 7th October 2016

At least five people were injured in a crash Friday afternoon in Arnold, a county fire department spokesman said.

The crash occurred around 1 p.m. in the area of College Parkway and Bald Eagle Drive. At least two vehicles were involved in the crash, Capt. Russ Davies, a county fire department spokesman said.

A woman, believed to be in her mid-30s, was flown by a U.S. Park Police helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious but not believed to be life-threatening injuries. A second woman, believed to be in her mid-20s and also suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries was taken by ambulance to the Shock Trauma Center, Davies said.

Three others were taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Parole with minor injuries, Davies said.

Additional information was not immediately available Friday afternoon.
