Jacksonville, FL : 15-year-old Baker County girl in serious condition after car crash on Friday afternoon, December 5, 2014

Hope Fly was riding in a Pontiac Grand Am northbound on Florida 121 about 3:25 p.m. when 16-year-old Allison Theophile turned the car into the path of a Chevy Blazer, according to the Highway Patrol. Amanda Perry, 20, of Glen St. Mary was southbound in the Chevy and tried to avoid the Pontiac but crashed into its passenger side, according to the FHP. Andrew Perry was also in the Chevy. Fly was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to the FHP. Theophile is charged with failure to yield to oncoming traffic while making a left turn, according to the FHP.
