Indianapolis, IN : State trooper injured in I-69 hit and run crash on Saturday, March 25, 2017
An Indiana State trooper was slightly injured Saturday just before 1 a.m. on I-69 southbound near 82nd Street when a SUV struck his patrol car.
According to State Police trooper Joel Flores he was assisting a disabled vehicle when a white Buick Rendezvous with a Indiana In God We Trust license plate struck the left rear of Flore's police car.
The trooper tried to chase the car but the damage caused in the crash disabled his car.
Flores was transported with neck and back pain to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
The SUV should have front driver's side damage.
