Waveland, MS : Becky Paulk, 51, died after struck by a vehicle on Waveland Avenue on Monday night, Aug 17, 2015

Becky Paulk, 51, died late Monday night when she was struck by a vehicle. It happened around 10:30 p.m.

Witnesses at the scene said the woman was laying in the middle of the road when the vehicle hit her. Hancock County Coroner Jim Faulk said she was wearing dark clothing, and the driver could not see her until it was too late.

The driver did stop following the accident, and no charges have been filed against the driver.
