Knoxville, TN : No students injured in a school bus crash in west Knox County on Thursday morning, April 16, 2015

No students were hurt in a school bus crash Thursday morning in west Knox County, according to Knox County Schools.

The school bus was carrying 39 students to Karns Elementary when it got into an accident near the intersection of Bakertown Road and Foote Mineral Lane at about 8 a.m. A replacement bus took the children to school.

Knox County Schools notified parents of the crash though the its notification system.

Knox County deputies haven't released how the crash happened.
