A driver was taken to a hospital with a minor injury Sunday afternoon after a two-vehicle accident closed part of Hammonds Mill Road for about 30 minutes, West Virginia State Police Senior Trooper G.W. Merkich said.
A silver Mustang was turning from eastbound Hammonds Mill Road north onto Saint Andrews Drive when the car struck a westbound Dodge pickup, Merkich said.
The male driver of the Mustang was taken to the hospital, he said.
The accident was reported at about 3 p.m., according to Berkeley County (W.Va.) Emergency Services.
