Fort Myers, FL : Driver arrested in fatal Fort Myers crash on Saturday, June 20, 2015

A Lehigh Acres man was arrested Wednesday for a deadly single vehicle rollover crash that killed his passenger.

Fort Myers police announced that Bernardo Lazarin, 23, was intoxicated at the time of the crash that killed the passenger, Juan Avila, 34, of Fort Myers.

Avila died at the scene of the single vehicle rollover crash that happened on June 20 on Ballard Road.

Lazarin was charged with driving under the influence causing death and driving under the influence causing a crash with property damage. Authorities say he gave a confession.

The rollover happened just west of Kingsman Circle.
