BROOKFIELD, WI ; 2 hospitalized after Brookfield crash near the intersection of Candlewood Lake Road and Huckleberry Hill Road on Monday, 24th February, 2020

Two people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Monday night, according to officials.
The crash was witnessed by a member of the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department’s Candlewood Fire Company around 6:45 p.m. Monday, fire officials said.
It happened near the intersection of Candlewood Lake Road and Huckleberry Hill Road.
As units responded, they learned two occupants were trapped in their vehicle. When the first two units arrived, the vehicle was stabilized and crews went to work getting into the vehicle, officials said.
Eight fire units from the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched.
