Joplin, MO : Oklahoma woman injured in interstate crash on Sunday, February 5th 2017

An Enid, Oklahoma, woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 3:12 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 44, a mile west of Mount Vernon in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Ashley E. Jones, 31, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Joplin with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred when an eastbound vehicle driven by Ronald C. Morgaridge, 34, of Enid, lost control and hit an eastbound vehicle driven by Cody R. Deleplank, 20, of Sarcoxie, the patrol said. Neither driver was injured; Jones was a passenger in Morgaridge's vehicle.
