Park Hills, MO : Desloge woman dies in crash on Old Bonne Terre Road on Tuesday, March 28, 2017

Two people were injured and one person died at 7:31 a.m. Tuesday after two vehicles collided on Old Bonne Terre Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Catherine Snead, 57, of Desloge, was driving her 2003 Pontiac Montana westbound on Old Bonne Terre Road just east of Wildwood Acres when she crossed the centerline and struck Jennifer Jones, 41, of Bonne Terre, head-on in her 2006 Ford Expedition, who was driving eastbound on Old Bonne Terre Road.

Snead died as a result of her injuries. She was taken by St. Francois County Ambulance to Parkland Health Center North where she was pronounced by Dr. Patrick Axtmayer at 10:12 a.m. She was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Jennifer and her passenger, Katelynne Jones, 13, also of Bonne Terre, were both wearing seat belts. Jennifer was taken by St. Francois County Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center with moderate injuries and Katelynne was taken by private conveyance to Parkland Health Center in Farmington for minor injuries.
