Anderson,SC : ID of woman killed in Anderson crash on October, Monday 2nd 2017

Authorities say a toddler was not hurt in a deadly crash in Anderson on Monday morning.

The accident happened at about 10:15 a.m.

The Anderson County Coroner’s Office says the driver, 51-year-old Margaret Sonya Hunt, was killed in the crash on E. Shockley Ferry Road.

Highway Patrol said Hunt crossed the center line, went off the road and down an embankment. The car hit a tree and overturned.

Hunt was entrapped and had to be extricated from the car. Hovis said she was wearing a seat belt but died at the scene of the accident.

The coroner’s office says Hunt was on her way to a friend’s house with her 2-year-old granddaughter when she lost control of the car.
