Ohio County, KY : Fordsville man crashes car, charged with DUI on Monday, July 7, 2014

A Fordsville man is charged with driving under the influence after authorities say he crashed his car and tried to leave the scene.

Kentucky State Police say 29-year-old Russell Colbert was heading north on Hardinsburg Road when he lost control of his SUV and hit a fence.

Troopers say Colbert and his passenger tried to run from the scene but were found by a passerby.

Colbert was taken to the hospital with a minor injury.

He's charged with leaving the scene of an accident and DUI.
