Traveling north in the right lane of U.S. 41 were Oscar Chavez Alonzo, 28, of Palmetto in his Nissan and a fourth unidentified vehicle.
Reportedly, Wisniewski for unknown reasons made a sharp left turn, crossing the median and into the path of northbound traffic. He collided with both Peterson’s and Alonzo’s vehicles. Wisniewski’s car spun and ended up in a northbound lane of U.S. 41.
The force of the collision forced Alonso’s vehicle to spin and ended up in the entrance to a gas station parking lot. A landscaping trailer being pulled by Alonso became detached, was struck by the fourth vehicle and forced into Wisneiwski’s car.
