Hopkinsville, KY : School bus involved in non-injury accident on Monday, November, 6th 2017

A Christian County Public Schools bus was reported involved in a non-injury accident at approximately 2:40 p.m. Monday on North Main Street, according to a Hopkinsville police report.

The bus, driven by Lena Dennis, 33, Hopkinsville, was traveling south on North Main Street in the far right lane approaching Maplelawn Street. The bus reported veered to the left, overtaking both lanes, then partially entered the left lane to prepare for a wide right turn, the report states. While turning, the bus struck a passenger vehicle, damaging it’s front passenger side. The second vehicle, driven by Greer Peck, 21, Hopkinsville, was behind the bus on North Main Street, and when the bus merged into the left lane, Peck advanced forward.
