Denton,TX : Man dies in early morning wreck near Ryan High School on may, Wednesday 31th 2017

A man who police believe to be in his 20s died early Wednesday morning in a single-car accident in the 5600 block of Mills Road, according to police.
Neither Denton police nor the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office had released the man's identity by late Wednesday afternoon.
At about 3 a.m., the man was driving a 2012 Hyundai Sonata eastbound on Mills Road at a high speed, according to traffic investigators. Police said he lost control and drove off the roadway, striking several mailboxes and trees before coming to a stop.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, police said. He was the only person in the vehicle.
Denton police are investigating whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
