A 56-year-old Enid woman was injured Thursday in a two vehicle collision at 10th and Randolph.

Chloe G. Schadler, 26, and Glenda R. Wickhan, 56, both of Enid, were both stopped facing south on 10th when Schadler’s vehicle struck the rear of Wickhan’s vehicle, according to an Enid Police Department collision report.

Schadler, who was driving a 2006 red Nissan Pathfinder, told police she was stopped behind Wickman and there was a vehicle stopped in front of Wickhan. Schadler told police she was not fully alert because she had recently woken up, according to the report.

Wickhan said she was stopped at least a car length from the vehicle in front of her and as the vehicle in front of her moved and she began to move, she was struck from behind by Schadler’s vehicle, according to the report. Wickhan told police she was struck hard and had recently had surgery on her back.

Wickhan said as a result of the impact, she could not feel her legs at first, according to the report. Wickman was taken by ambulance to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
