Oriska, N.D : 88-year-old woman dies in T-bone collision in Barnes County on Saturday, October 8, 2016

An 88-year-old woman is dead as a result of a T-bone collision between a sport utility vehicle and a car in Barnes County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Hope resident Alice Anderson died Tuesday from the injuries she sustained in the crash that happened Saturday near Oriska.

The Highway Patrol says the SUV failed to stop at a junction and struck the car in the driver's side. Both vehicles entered the ditch.

Authorities say the driver of the SUV, 52-year-old Sandra Meyer, and 23-year-old passenger Rachel Meyer, both of Hillsboro, sustained minor injuries. The driver of the car, 59-year-old Bismarck resident Clayton Schumaker, and Anderson, who was a passenger, were airlifted to a Fargo hospital.

Schumaker's condition was not immediately clear Thursday.
