Sandusky ,OH : Bicyclist seriously hurt after being hit by car on Friday afternoon ,July 10th 2015

A bicyclist is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Sandusky.

The accident happened Friday afternoon on Venice Road, just east of Thorpe Drive.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Bo Walters was seriously injured when he was hit by a passing car driven by 23-year-old Joseph Darr.

Troopers say Walters turned southbound onto Venice between two cars and traveled into the eastbound lane of traffic before being hit.

Walters was taken to a Toledo hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
