Hickman, KY : Fulton Co. deputies respond to single-vehicle crash on Friday, June 10, 2016

The Fulton County Sheriff Department responded to a single-vehicle crash on Jeffress Road in Fulton County on Friday, June 10 around 5:30 p.m.

Zachary D. Kelly, 24, of Fulton, Kentucky, was driving southbound on Jeffress Road when he lost control of his vehicle after it ran off the east side of the roadway up an embankment. The vehicle came back onto the roadway traveling approximately 150 feet down the roadway until it came to rest after it hit and embankment on the west side of the roadway.

The impact ejected Kelly out of the driver’s side of the window throwing him approximately 30 feet.

Kelly was treated at the scene by the Tri City Ambulance Service. His injuries required him to be air lifted out by Air Evac to Cape Girardeau, Missouri for further treatment.

It was determined that Kelly was not wearing a seat belt at the time of accident.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Tri City Ambulance Service, Fulton Fire Department, Air Evac, Cayce Fire Department, Fulton County Dispatch, and Allens’s Wrecker Service.
