LEXINGTON, SC : 1 person hospitalized after DUI crash in Lexington on Monday, 14th October 2024

A person was hospitalized Monday night after a crash in Lexington.
The Lexington Police Department (LPD) said the crash happened on Augusta Road/US-1 at Stoneridge Drive via a Facebook post, which was posted at around 8:12 p.m. Monday.
The crash left both inbound and outbound lanes closed while the scene was being cleared.
LPD later revealed in an update post that one person was taken to the hospital by EMS due to the crash and that the accident was caused by an impaired driver who was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
