American young journalist Marina Keegan died on a car accident

Journalist and playwrighter Marina Keegan dies at the young age of 22 in a car crash on Sunday afternoon in Dennis, Masssachussets.

Keegan whose name in fame after she won national attention for urging her fellow Yale college students to resist the lure of Wall Street. She just graduated from Yale days ago when the accident happened. She was with his boyfriend Michael Gocksch as the driver when the car rolled over. She was pronounced dead at the scene; Mr. Gocksch was not seriously injured.

Keegan was about to start working at The New Yorker magazine next month. She able to write a musical titled Independents to be performed at the New York International Fringe Festival this summer.
In her Yale days she helped organize a protest challenging campus recruiting, known as Occupy Morgan Stanley. Students gathered outside the hotel where Morgan Stanley was holding an information session, chanting slogans like “Take a stance, don’t go into finance.”

Marina Evelyn Keegan was born Oct. 25, 1989, in Wayland, Mass., where her family lives. Survivors include her parents, Tracy and Kevin, and two brothers, Trevor and Pierce.
