Thousand Oaks, CA : Driver injured in one-vehicle crash on Highway 23 near Sunset Hills Boulevard on Monday, Sep 7, 2015

The driver of a vehicle that crashed Monday into a center divider on Highway 23 in Thousand Oaks was taken to a hospital for treatment, officials said.

An ambulance took the person to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks after the single-vehicle accident was reported about 9:30 a.m. near Sunset Hills Boulevard, officials said.

The vehicle apparently crashed into the guard rail, the Ventura County Fire Department said.

Further details, including the extent of injuries, were not available.
