A stretch of Interstate 270 in Maryland Heights is back open now after it shut down early Friday morning. Someone hit a woman, then left the scene.
Corporal Dallas Thompson with the Missouri Highway Patrol told FOX 2 that the female pedestrian who was struck was conscious when she was taken by EMS from the scene. At this point, there’s no additional detail on her condition.
A stretch of I-270 north right at the I-70 ramps was shut down for a while as the Missouri Highway Patrol investigated the incident. The scene has since cleared and the highway has completely reopened.
