HUDSON, NH : Motorcyclist seriously injured in Hudson crash on Friday, 2nd September 2016

A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday when he collided with a car that pulled out in front of him, police said.

Kevin Thompson, 60, was flown by medical helicopter to Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, police said in a statement. Thompson was wearing a helmet.

Police said Thompson was operating his 2015 Harley Davidson west on Route 111 about 12:29 p.m. Charlene Oakley, 42, pulled out from Lawrence Road to make a left-hand turn, police said. Thompson's motorcycle struck Oakley's 2011 Ford Fiesta.

Oakley suffered "minor to moderate" injuries, and was taken by Hudson Fire Ambulance to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment. The accident is under investigation by the Hudson Police Reconstruction Team.
