Woman hurt, taken to hospital after solo car crash on Midway
A woman suffered major injuries when her car crashed at 1:15 a.m. Sunday on the Midway.
Angelina D. Harrold, 24, of Chico, had to be extricated from the 2002 Mitsubishi she was driving when the car crashed north of Marybill Ranch Road on the Midway.
Harrold was the only occupant of the vehicle and she appears to have not been wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred, according to a press release from the California Highway Patrol. Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
Harrold was transported to Enloe Medical Center with major injuries.
