Clackamas, OR : Driver hospitalized with head injury after crashing into tree early Tuesday morning, Oct 20, 2015

Officials say a driver who crashed into a tree early Tuesday morning was hospitalized with a head injury.

The crash was reported along King Road when the driver left the road, struck a tree and came to a rest near an apartment building.

Firefighters had to extricate the driver from the car, which took about 20 minutes. The driver was hospitalized at OHSU with a traumatic head injury.

The cause of the crash hasn't been released.
