KENLY, NC : Driver killed in head-on crash with tractor-trailer in Kenly on Friday, 22nd February 2019

One person was killed following a crash between a car and a tractor-trailer Friday afternoon in Kenly.

Troopers said a car crossed the center line on N.C. 42 just after 3 p.m. and struck the tractor-trailer head-on.

The driver of the car, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to Wilson Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
