Man Killed, Another Hurt in Motorcycle Accidents near Corona California
One man was killed and another critically injured in separate motorcycle accidents that occurred just 20 minutes apart.
Christopher Bridenbaugh, 19, of Corona was killed Tuesday night when his 1984 Honda collided with a station wagon, Corona Police Sgt. Rich Renstrom said. The accident occurred at the Maple Street off-ramp from the westbound Riverside Freeway.
Twenty minutes later, another motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of North Merrill and Railroad streets.
The rider, Harry Purdy, 22, of Corona, suffered head injuries and was taken to Riverside General Hospital, where he remained in critical condition Wednesday.
Both accidents were under investigation. No charges have been filed.
