Naples, FL : Pedro Tucker motorcyclist was injured in a crash at Intersection with Lee Road On Monday, September 19th, 2016
A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries Monday night when he ran a red light, colliding with a car in south Lee County, state police said.
Pedro Tucker, 20, of Cape Coral, was driving west on Alico Road at a high rate of speed about 11:15 p.m. when he approached the intersection with Lee Road, the Florida
Highway Patrol eported. Tory Saperstein, 21, of Fort Myers, was driving a 2005 Mazda that was stopped at a red traffic signal, facing south, police said.
When Saperstein proceeded to drive when the light turned green, Tucker and his 2003 Suzuki GSX clipped the Mazda, causing Tucker to leave his motorcycle. Both he and
the Suzuki separately traveled nearly 400 feet along Alico before stopping, the FHP said.
Paramedics took Tucker to Lee Memorial Hospital, where he remained in serious condition. Neither Saperstein nor a passenger, Andrew Bayer, 22, of Sanibel, suffered
injuries, state police stated in the report.
