JOHNSTOWN TOWNSHIP, MI : 1 killed, 1 injured in Barry County crash on Banfield Road between Baseline and Ferris roads in Johnstown Township, near Hastings on Wednesday, 12th June 2019

One person was killed and another was hospitalized after a crash Wednesday in Barry County.

It happened around 3:25 p.m. on Banfield Road between Baseline and Ferris roads in Johnstown Township, near Hastings.

Authorities said a vehicle going south crossed the center line, causing a collision with a northbound vehicle. The driver of the southbound vehicle was killed in the crash.

The other driver was taken to a Kalamazoo hospital to be treated for injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
