Bismarck, ND : Sixty-year-old Lawrence Kerzman of Coleharbor died in a one-vehicle crash on Monday, August 14, 2017

Sixty-year-old Lawrence Kerzman of Coleharbor died in a one-vehicle crash in a wildlife management area north of Riverdale, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said Tuesday.

The crash was discovered at 7:45 a.m. Monday in the Wolf Creek Wildlife Management Area, but it's unclear when the incident happened, the Highway Patrol said.

Kerzman was driving a Ford Expedition on 38th Avenue Northwest in the wildlife management area in McLean County. The Highway Patrol said the vehicle entered a ditch, crossed another roadway and then entered a second ditch before striking a tree. The driver died at the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Highway Patrol and the McLean County Sheriff's Department.
