Greeley, CO : Woman and her boyfriend seriously injured in Denver hit-and-run crash on Saturday, May 21, 2016
A Greeley woman and her boyfriend were hospitalized Saturday after they were hit by a pickup outside a Denver bar. The truck then fled from the scene.
Colorado State Patrol spokeswoman Alisha Denko said police were called about 12:50 a.m. to the area of Interstate 25 and East 58th Avenue in north Denver, which is near the Grizzly Rose.
Denko said two pedestrians, a man and a woman, were hit by a truck and suffered serious injuries. They were taken to Denver Health Medical Center. Denko said because the case is an active criminal investigation, she didn’t know any further information, such as a description of the truck or whether investigators had located it.
She also said she could not release the identities of the victims.
