MILAN TWP, MI : Witnesses sought in hit-skip crash involving bicycle on Thursday, 2nd August 2018

A Norwalk bicyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a car early Wednesday morning.The Erie County Sheriff’s Office responded to U.S. 250, south of Ohio 13 in Milan after a caller reported a man lying in the road at 1:30 a.m., Chief Deputy Jared Oliver said.

Anthony C. Harkness, 56, of 7 Adams St., was found to have incapacitating injuries after being hit by a passing vehicle while riding his bike down the street.

Harkness, who was completely ejected from the bicycle, was flown by North Central EMS LifeFlight to Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was still receiving treatment Thursday evening.
