CAMBRIDGE, MA : Valet crashes Jeep though wall, into pool on Sunday, January 22nd 2017

A valet who was parking a Jeep in Cambridge crashed the vehicle through the wall of a condominium complex and into an indoor pool late Thursday night.The crash happened at 11:15 p.m. at the Regatta Riverview Residences on Museum Way. The valet told police a rug got trapped under one of the pedals, and he lost control of the vehicle.

It went about 100 feet at a high rate of speed into the building.

The valet was able to get out of the pool on his own and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
