NORWALK, OH : Motorcyclist dies in Seneca Co. crash on S.R. 19 on Friday, 11th October 2024

A motorcyclist traveling on S.R. 19 died after crashing into a vehicle stopped at a stop sign in Republic Township Friday afternoon.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, William Owsley, a 71-year-old Fremont man, was traveling south at 2:05 p.m. on October 11.

Owlsey struck a vehicle that was at a stop sign at the intersection with S.R. 18. He was flown to Toledo Hospital where he died on October 13.

The 66-year-old Fremont woman that was crashed into was taken to the hospital in Tiffin with minor injuries.
