Knox City, MO : Woman injured in one-car crash in Knox County on Saturday, March 18, 2017

A Knox City woman was injured in a one-car crash at 3:45 a.m. Saturday in Knox County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Kayla R. Sallee, 18, was driving a 2001 Ford Mustang west on Route HH, one mile northeast of Knox City, when the driver overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road and struck a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Sallee was taken by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville for treatment of moderate injuries.

The report said Sallee was not wearing a seat belt.

Assisting at the scene were the Knox County Sheriff's Department, the Knox County Ambulance Service, Knox County Rescue and the Knox City Fire Department.
