Las Vegas,NV : Powell motorcyclist dies in Nevada crash on August, Wednesday 2nd 2017

A 52-year-old Powell man died Wednesday evening in a motorcycle crash in southeastern Nevada. Gustavo Sbatella was an assistant professor for the University of Wyoming, based at the Powell Research and Extension Center. The Nevada Highway Patrol said heavy rain contributed to the crash, which occurred on Interstate 15 near Valley of Fire State Park around 7 p.m.
