Glasgow, KY : One injured in wreck on Wolf Island Road on Monday, September 26, 2016

A Glasgow woman was flown to Vanderbilt University Hospital after being involved in a wreck on Wolf Island Road.

According to a Barren County Sheriff's Office news release issued Tuesday, Ashley N. Parsons, 26, was traveling southbound when she lost control of her 2006 Ford Mustang causing it to travel off the left side of Wolf Island Road where it struck a tree, continued into a field and struck another tree head on.

Parsons was flown from the scene to Vanderbilt University Hospital. An update on her injuries was not provided.

The BCSO was assisted at the scene by the Barren-Metcalfe EMS and the East Barren Fire Department. Parsons was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the news release.
