ROANOKE, VA : Child seriously injured by crash on Shenandoah on Wednesday, 24th April 2024

Roanoke police say they are currently investigating after a child was hit by a motor vehicle on Shenandoah Avenue NW on Wednesday, April 28.

According to RPD, preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle was driving west on the 4300 block of Shenandoah Avenue NW when a boy was hit after entering the roadway. The child has been taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment of what appeared to be serious injuries.
