A driver is in custody after fleeing from police and crashing into a Seminole County retention pond.
It happened off the State Road 46 entrance ramp to eastbound Interstate 4.
The pursuit began around noon when the truck fled from Eatonville police.
Witnesses called deputies to report the truck weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds.
Deputies were able to deploy stop sticks on the truck, just south of SR-46.
The truck then crashed through a chain link fence and into the pond.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was booked into the Seminole County jail for reckless driving and aggravated fleeing and eluding.
More charges may be added.
The incident remains under investigation.
